You Lied - live 6. Merkaba 7. No Quarter 8. Sober Prison Sex Stinkfist Third Eye is an incredible performance and a great way of opening the album. It is good to see how the band have evolved the song from the studio version and made it more suited for a live performance.

As maynard proclaims at the beginning of "Push! This is a very good alternate version of the song which replaces the heavy guitars and angry vocals with mellow music and soft vocals.

This helps to build up the song in a different direction. This is one of the best things about Tool because istead of playing the same song ever show, they experiment with them and make them to make them fresh and exciting. The best song on the album is the cover of Led Zeppelins "No Quarter" which has epic effects, production and a melee of guitars and stretchy vocal harmonies.

This is probably the best cover song i have ever heard, an odd one for tool who dont believe in cover songs but its just for the fans. The last track is ok if you can be bothered to listen to it. This isn't meant to be a proper album but it strongly achieves its job of being a good collection of outakes for the fans. The album comes in a velvet laced boxset with a large colour photo collection and a bonus DVD with the bands amazing videos on. This is for fans of the band only.

No, it's not an album proper, but Opiate is monumental enough to merit inclusion here. Primal and unpolished, Tool's debut EP barely hints at the wide-screen prog-rock expansiveness to come other than, to some extent, on the industrial-tinged hidden track "The Gaping Lotus Experience".

But what it lacks in sonic ambition, it makes up for in blunt force and inescapable hooks. Songs like "Hush," "Jerk-Off" and the title cut showcase Tool at their most concise and venomous. Yet, for all its greatness, Opiate feels like the captivating tantrum of a band still in its infancy. Tool may have kept us waiting more than a decade since the release of this, their last album, but at least 10, Days is absolutely massive, dense and multilayered enough to be poured over and dissected by fans for years.

Sweeping, progressive compositions such as "Vicarious," "The Pot" and "Rosetta Stoned" are modern classics, but at nearly 76 minutes across 11 meandering tracks including multiple interludes, 10, Days doesn't exactly embody the phrase "all killer, no filler," sometimes getting lost in its own grand scope.

Coming after a year wait full of ever-compounding rumors, hype and misinformation, Fear Inoculum could never live up to the expectations. And yet somehow it did.
